LARDIN Takes GBV and Femicide Awareness to the Community.
At LARDIN, we believe meaningful change does not begin only in boardrooms, conferences, or formal meetings. It begins within our communities through conversations, awareness, and action.

Recently, LARDIN Program Director, Charlotte Nguh, took the initiative to engage a small group of women in her neighbourhood in an awareness and sensitization discussion on gender-based violence (GBV), femicide, and homicide prevention.
The grassroots engagement created a safe space for conversation and reflection, encouraging participants to better understand the warning signs of violence, speak up when they see or experience abuse, support one another, and contribute to building safer communities.
Turning the LARDIN Mission into Action.
This initiative reflects LARDIN’s commitment to moving beyond plans, meetings, and conversations to take meaningful action where it matters most at community level.

Every awareness conversation creates an opportunity to challenge harmful attitudes, strengthen knowledge, encourage early action, and remind community members that preventing violence is a shared responsibility.
We deeply appreciate Charlotte Ngwa for taking this initiative and demonstrating how each member of the LARDIN family can contribute to advancing our mission.
One Conversation Can Make a Difference.
One conversation can spark awareness.
One person can inspire action.
One community can become safer.

This is how change happens—together, one community at a time. 💜
